For those who choose to live in a community setting with services available, our residential living apartments consist of spacious 889 square foot units including a master bedroom, den, 2 baths, kitchen and laundry in the only Catholic senior living facility of its kind in the Diocese.

Residential living at Garvey Manor and Our Lady of the Alleghenies Residence offers modern, spacious and attractive indoor and outdoor amenities designed to provide a dignified environment for someone seeking community living. Daily Mass is offered in St. Joseph’s Chapel, which is also utilized for devotional and pastoral services. Persons of all faiths are welcome at our facility. Our goal is to meet an individual’s continuing care needs with multi-levels of service.

Services Included in the Monthly Fee

  • 3 Meals per day provided in the dining room
  • 24 hour emergency call system
  • Monthly health screening (weight and blood pressure readings)
  • Utilities (electric, water, sewerage, heat, and air conditioning)
  • Local telephone service
  • Cable TV at the facility package
  • Light weekly housekeeping (vacuuming without moving furniture, washing tile floor, dusting without moving nick/nacks, bathroom cleaning, & providing toilet tissue)
  • Daily trash pick-up (2 trash receptacles and liners provided)
  • Bath towel service ( 2 sets per person, 2 times per week)
  • Laundering of heavy items (comforters, bed spreads, etc.)
  • Free parking
  • Light maintenance
  • Light-bulbs for fixed fixtures
  • Maintenance of provided appliances
  • Window washing (2 times per year)
  • Carpet cleaning (1 time per year with limited furniture moving)
  • Access to Chapel Services
  • Access to Garvey Manor Business Office services
  • General participation in pre-scheduled activities
  • General shopping transport ( 1 time per week, weather permitting)

Personal Property Insurance is not included in the monthly fee and will be the responsibility of the resident.
